Benefits of Making an IRA Charitable Rollover Gift

With an IRA Charitable Rollover, you can lovingly address the needs of homeless neighbors in San Diego while netting favorable financial benefits.

IRA Charitable Rollovers allow you to make tax-free charitable gifts directly from your Individual Retirement Accounts to eligible charities without first recognizing it as income. If you’re 70.5 or older, you can join your fellow Rescue Mission supporters who make tax-free gifts from their Traditional IRAs once a year.

How to Make a Gift from your IRA

You can request an IRA Distribution Form from your financial custodian and either mail it back to them or complete the gift transaction over the phone with your financial custodian.

Whether you prefer to fill out IRA Charitable Rollover forms by hand or over the phone with your account custodian, please provide details about your intended gift to the San Diego Rescue Mission by filling out the form below.

Financial custodians do not always share your information with us. We will use this information only to acknowledge and thank you for your charitable gift when it is received.

Information Needed to Complete an IRA Gift Over the Phone

Many financial custodians allow charitable distributions to be requested over the phone. Information that will be requested over the phone to complete your gift is provided below.

Have you already made an IRA Charitable Rollover gift to the San Diego Rescue Mission and need an acknowledgement letter?
